Just when it seemed that we were finally starting to shake of winter once again another big dollop of snow dumps it self on us, hopefully it won't hang about to long but it makes it difficult getting caught up with jobs in the garden that are now starting to pile up. One thing I am pleased to say is that I have at long last finished erecting my new greenhouse, it has taken since mid December to get it completed which seems a hell of a long time I know but I haven't wasted any time, (honest) but the weather just made it a long struggle, If I ever build another it's going to be in Summer.
I have set up some of my Dahlia tubers today as i am going to try and get some cuttings of them, the varieties are.Lakeland polly. Marys Jomanda .Sophie Taylor. Kenora Sunset and Western Spanish Dancer, plus to come in April i ordered some Teesbrooke Redeye and Honka Suprise. It seems a lot of different varieties but I just thought it would be interesting , mind it will mean that i grow a few less Veg this year but I will try to grow some better sorts of what i do grow, so I will concentrate on Potatoes Carrots Onions Leeks Marrows and a giant Pumpkin anything else will just have to fit in where it can.

Nice job, James! It always feels good to complete a project. My greenhouse is still in the dismantling stage (it was given to us free, we have to move it). My hot house hopes then remain for September use since my seeds need to be started now- onions, peas, potatoes, lettuce...
How did Carlisle do on Saturday? I was wearin' the Blue!
Saturdays Leauge result was a disapointment. Swindon 2 United 1 Suffering a bit of cup final nerves i think.
