Winston finally turns up

A couple of weeks ago I got the first of my seed poatoes (Kesterl) but was having trouble finding any Winston, after searching around i was beginning to doubt that i would ever get some, but yesterday i just happened to call in at very low key type garden center a few miles away that i was passing by during work and finally tracked some down, best bit was you just pick out the ones you wanted and as I only need 12 the cost was only £1. 20 for a real good clean and even bunch. Mind as is the usual way i couldn't resist buying 4 bags of Irish Shamrock peat as well that they were also selling, I think they must be about the only center round here that still stock peat all others seem to have to have been pressurised into not stocking it any more. Well I say good on them and as Arnie says I WILL BE BACK.

I got a bale of peat from my local, private garden centre. It's from J. Arthuer Bowers, so in theory should be easily orderable.

Oh,those inconspicuous little nurseries, roadside, that surprise you!
The girls and I are feverishly preparing a new tater bed and getting the pea patch ready.
